Tunic from good, thick woolen tweed, wooven from red and white thread. Bird motive – part of decoration on the ring brooch in Nordic style. Probably made by Scandinavian craftsman who lived in Kiev. Found in Kiev, grave 108, dated between 950 and 990 ad Motive on sleeves: braid from other ring brooch from Kiev, 2nd half of 10th c. Embroidered with woolen thread by hand.
